Pharmacological properties: QP53AD01-AMITRAZ, QP53AX22-TIMOL

ATS vet code QP53 – antiparasitic drugs, insecticides and repellents.

Amitraz acts as a contact poison, causing blocking of nerve impulses, which leads to impaired coordination of movements, paralysis and death of Varroa mites.

Belongs to low-toxic compounds of class 3.

Application: diagnostics, prevention and treatment of varroa in bees.

Dosage: AMITOL is placed in the hive at the rate of two plates per 10-12 nest frames.

For small families (up to 6 frames), divisions and nuclei, one plate located in the center of the nest is enough.

In weak families, one plate is suspended between 3 and 4, the second - between 7 and 8 frames.

The plates are left in families for a period of 3 to 30 days, depending on the amount of sealed brood.

Contraindications: Do not use during honey flow. To avoid the drug getting into commercial honey, stop treating bee families 14 days before the start of the main honey flow.

Caution: Do not use at temperatures below 12 °C.

Composition: each plate contains Amitraz - 6.75 mg; Thymol - 8 mg.

Production form: wooden strips containing 6.75 mg of amitraz and 0.8 mg of thymol, each individually sealed in packages of 10 pieces in a cardboard box. There are 10 strips in a package.

Storage conditions: store in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 0 ° C to 25 ° C.

Shelf life: two years.
