On June 25, 2025, a scientific and practical conference with international participation was held, dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Ukrainian beekeeper, scientist and teacher Petro Ivanovich Prokopovych - the founder of rational beekeeping and the inventor of the world's first frame hive.
The event brought together beekeepers, scientists, representatives of the medical and pharmaceutical community, as well as producers of bee products from different countries. The participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences, present the results of the latest research and discuss the prospects for the use of apitherapy in modern medicine.
The audience's attention was attracted by the speeches of representatives of the Medok company, who shared the results of their own clinical studies:
- Valentina Anatoliivna Knizhenko, General Director of the company, made a report on the topic: "The use of royal jelly in the treatment of gynecological diseases: results of a clinical study". In her speech, she presented scientifically based data on the effectiveness of royal jelly in restoring hormonal balance and improving women's reproductive health.
- Viktor Anatoliivych Yolkin, Commercial Director of the company, presented a report on the topic: "The use of bee products in the treatment of chronic bacterial prostatitis: results of a clinical study". The report was devoted to the practical results of using drone homogenate, suppositories with drone homogenate and perga to reduce inflammatory processes, improve the quality of life of patients and reduce the risk of relapse.
The conference participants noted the significant contribution of the company "Medok" to the development of modern apitherapy and the popularization of scientific approaches to the use of beekeeping products in medicine.
