The results of clinical studies by "Medok" have been published in the international scientific journal Apis

"Medok" has received significant international recognition for its research and development work. The results of a clinical study on the use of beekeeping products in the complex treatment of chronic bacterial prostatitis were published in the journal Apis, one of the world's most authoritative scientific publications in the field of beekeeping and apitherapy.

The publication was the result of the participation of the "Médok" team in the 49th International Congress of Apimondia, which took place in September 2025 in Copenhagen (Denmark). Apimondia is the largest global organization in the field of beekeeping, uniting scientists, producers, entrepreneurs and public figures from different countries of the world to develop science, education and innovation in the industry.

For the company "Medok", participation in the congress was an important event not only for the representative of Ukrainian production. Our team spoke at the scientific section of the congress with a report, which presented the results of the third clinical study dedicated to the use of beekeeping products in the treatment of chronic bacterial prostatitis.

It was this report that attracted the attention of Dr. János Körmendy-Rácz, PhD, President of the Apitherapy Commission of Apimondia and Editor-in-Chief of the Apis journal. The presented research results aroused considerable interest due to their scientific novelty, practical value and rare clinical format for the field. After reviewing the research materials, Dr. János Körmendy-Rácz, PhD, expressed interest in their publication in the Apis journal. As a result, the scientific article was included in the publication, which highlights the most important global achievements and advanced scientific developments in the field of beekeeping, apitherapy and bee products.

An important event was the fact that, after publication in the journal, the materials were included in the international scientific identification system ORCID. The system confirms the authorship of the study and its ownership to the authors — Valentina Knizhenko and Viktor Yolkin. Such registration confirms the originality of the work, its scientific significance and international recognition.

For the company "Medok" this event is not only a professional achievement, but also an important step in the development of the evidence base on the use of bee products. The recognition of the research results by the international scientific community confirms the promising nature of the chosen direction and the importance of further studying the medicinal properties of bee products.

We are proud that Ukrainian developments and research results are recognized at the international level and become part of the global scientific space.
